Peter Beaven, an Andover native, is founder and director of Beaven & Associates. He has over 30 years of teaching and tutoring experience.

Education: Bowdoin College, B.A., cum laude; Alfred P. Sloan Scholar; extramural studies in English at Exeter College, Oxford, UK; University of New Hampshire, M.P.A.

Mr. Beaven founded the firm bearing his name in 1976, and in 1979 he established Passport Exchange, a foreign exchange program for students from Spain, France, and Italy to visit with American families in New England and for American students to exchange visits with these students in their native countries. Tutoring specialties: standardized test preparation, English, basic math, Spanish and Latin.

The Tutors

Our faculty are highly trained, with educational backgrounds ranging from the bachelor of arts degree to masters' and doctoral degrees. All are practitioners in their fields of expertise. They are professionals dedicated to helping students achieve their fullest potential.

	Joseph Abi-Moussa Education: Merrimack College, B.S. Mathematics, cum laude. Tutoring specialities: basic to advanced topics in mathematics, SAT and SSAT.
	John Krey Educaton: Boston University, B.S. biology, chemistry; Bowling Green State University; Northeastern University, MEd. Tutoring specialities: Chemistry and biology.
	John Willard Education: Amherst College, B.A., magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa; University of Florida, M.A. English. Tutoring specialities: standardized test prep, math, English, foreign languages and history.
	David Murphy Education: Phillips Academy, Williams College Tutoring specialties: standardized test prep, grad school test prep, elementary and middle school academic subjects, with an emphasis on working with academically challenged students.

	Katharine Webster Education: Yale College, B.A., cum laude, with honors in English; University of California at Berkeley, M.J. (Master of Journalism) Work Experience: 15 years as a reporter and editor for the Associated Press on: the court system; medicine; features; environment; investigations Tutoring specialties: LSAT; writing (nonfiction); editing of prep school, college, and graduate school application essays.
	Peggy Rambach Education: BA from Tufts University in English Literature, MA in Creative Writing from the University of New Hampshire, MFA in Fiction Writing from Vermont College Work Experience: Ms. Rambach has taught writing, as a middle school teacher at Hampstead Academy, at U.
